Ministry in Community and World
Our congregation participates in local, Regional, and world missions through Disciples Mission Finance (DMF) and other organizations. We sponsor a child in Jamaica through Global Ministries. Locally, we support Habitat for Humanity, The Christian Women's Center, as well as Spalding Samaritans and All Faiths Christian Ministries -- an ecumenical community ministry, which includes The Hope Health Clinic and The Five Loaves and Two Fish Food Pantry. We provide a meeting place for Girl Scouts and the "We Do Recover" groups of Narcotics Anonymous. We are Partners In Education with the Spalding County School System, sponsoring the special education classes at Kelsey Middle and Griffin High Schools.
